Indiana artist Avon Waters will be leading this all-day, hands-on Saturday workshop, starting with a demo from nature then progressing into hands-on exercises that decipher color theory. Learn how to mix shades, tints, and tones, color relativity, and more, using the medium of your choice.

Music, writing, and visuals come together in this performance inspired by a nature walk led by an IU Biology Professor, whose narratives on the essence of the natural world inspired IU students' creativity. Hear literary and musical pieces representing each of the writings, with a brass ensemble depicting the literary compositions.
In this workshop, we will manipulate paper to create glorious flowers. We will use techniques such as tearing, folding, cutting, quilling, and our imagination. A variety of paper, from handmade to wallpaper, newsprint and beyond, will make it a happening experience!
