The Northern California Chapter of Artist for Climate Awareness is a new chapter centered in the San Francisco Bay Area, but includes all of northern California. If you have an idea for an event or activity, please contact Patricia (below).

Making Charcoal Paint

We’re planning a couple of workshops where we’ll make soil and charcoal paints, and have time to make art at this beautiful redwood preserve in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Our host is the Land Trust of Santa Cruz County and the Peninsula Open Space Trust (POST).

CITY OF ATHERTON’S ANNUAL EARTH DAY FESTIVAL

I’ll be demonstrating how to make paint with charcoal from wildfires and soil- join me! And enjoy this festival with lots of activites and earth-friendly displays.
