SOLACE – A Multi-sensory Healing Experience
MDWST Fable presents SOLACE, an immersive, multi‑arts installation series designed to spark healing, curiosity, and creative play. SOLACE brings together five artists—each working in one of the five arts: 2‑D, 3‑D, Music, Movement, and Sound—to create five interactive installations that blend together and invite visitors to explore, touch, listen, move, and participate. SOLACE is presented during ACA’s April Earth Month “Art as Inquiry” (Co-lab) exhibition.
Across three special events at the Pillar Arts Alliance Center (April 18th, 25th, and 26th), audiences can experience SOLACE throughout multiple spaces in the mall‑based arts center:
- Two large gallery spaces will host movement‑based and audio‑driven experiences, including dance, sound healing, guided group activities, and digital A/V environments that encourage full‑body engagement.
- Smaller rooms will feature hands‑on 3‑D interactive artworks—playful, exploratory pieces reminiscent of WonderLab‑style exhibits.
The project is sponsored as a model for creative, participatory healing through the arts. These installations create a welcoming, multi‑sensory environment where people of all ages can reconnect with imagination, movement, and one another.
SOLACE is presented alongside “ACA’s April Earth Month “Art as Inquiry” exhibition and programming and the Brushes for a Better Planet project, expanding the conversation around art, climate, and community wellbeing.
