Anne Maddox
I am an Artist and a member of Artists for Climate Awareness. I use a series of six Ecosystem paintings I have executed, to teach about the interconnectedness of nature and why we need to protect and create wild habitats. Through the means of a poetic story, I call attention to what happens to wildlife when the mowers come through, destroying their habitat.
You can see my web page here. I have created a Facebook page called Wild About Marion. This explains why we need to bring beauty and nature into our towns, cities, and backyards, and gives useful information on the hows and whys. It is an open platform for information sharing, and I aim to get other communities to create their own Wild About, using their town’s name. The objective is to connect communities and create necessary corridors of nature to facilitate the migration of wildlife.
