DESCRIPTION:Join us in Louisville\, Kentucky on July 11–\nExploring artists who bring sustainability into their practice in medium\, method\, and theme.\nSponsored by Louisville Visual Art and  Uniting Artists and Scientists for Climate Action (UASCA)\, an Artists for Climate Awareness collaborative project\, “Human I Nature” investigates the intersection of art\, science\, and climate ecology and the impact of humans on the natural world. \nNational and local artists include: Jill Pelto from Bellingham\, WA whose work focuses on glacial decline while portraying the majestic Cascade Mountains; Jim Weaver’s poignant work on the effects of wildfires; Devon Horton’s thoughtful paintings on flooding impacts; David Young’s impressive murals on climate change.  \nSeveral local artists will be joining the event.
